Hi,

I am moving from Boston to Gilbert in July. I am looking for a top notch pediatrician in the area.

Any recommendations?

I don't know about one in Gilbert but Dr. Louis Iorio is EXCELLENT! He's in Mesa by the Desert Sam Hospital. He has a twin that practices in Scottdale. He's great but it's hard to get in if you are a new patient. Check him out anyway. My kids are older now but in emergencies he was the man. I have referred many to him and everyone agrees.

Hi
Gilbert to Boston - I am originally from Dedham been here 15 yrs - our son who is now 12 and was ill as a child - and we found this Dr Aczueta at Cigna on Stapley Road in Mesa - we were with him until my son turned 8 and he was incredible - gentle, caring, loves children, young gentleman in his late 30's now and my son really liked him. His MEsa office was about 10 min from our home in Val Vista Lakes in Gilbert

Default Pediatrician in Gilbert - Dr. Azcueta

Hi, Dr. Santy Azcueta has been gone from AZ for a few years now. He resides in CA now - and he was my girls 1st pediatrician!
My husband is a pediatrician, and used to work with Dr. Azcueta at that Cigna office you mentioned.
My husband is excellent - of course, I am biased, but we are leaving AZ this summer and relocating to CT.
My husband currently works for Apache Junction Pediatrics - but I do not think you will want to drive out to AJ from Gilbert, however Dr. Letizia is very very good there (a woman, age 34 or 35).
We have been going to Gilbert Pediatrics since our insurance changed from Cigna to our current and it has been OK. My kids have been pretty healthy and no need to go see the pediatrician (given we have one in the house) except for well checks so far.
Dr. David Kipp is a great friend and pediatrician still at the above mentioned Cigna office. He is in his early 50's and the grandfather of 3 young boys. He LOVES children, is so patient and gentle. I would seek him out if they will take your insurance. He went to Johns Hopkins for residency or medical school - I cannot recall which one, but he has been here with Cigna for over 20 years. I do not think he has any plans to retire within the next 10 years or so. I reccommend him!

Thank you for the information - I just loved Dr Azcueta and I do remember Dr Kipp - so that would also be a great referral for her
I do not like Gilbert Pediatrics - but we had to switch to Dr Jeanne Wolfe at the Gilbert Medical on Gilbert ROad - she is very active in the Cathloic Church in Gilbert - and we have been pleased with them for the past 3 years.

But those doctors at CIGNA - Stapley were the best - enjoy CT - we are off to Idaho

Hi Deem,
Is Dr. Jeanne Wolfe a family practitioner? I ask because I could swear that my next door neighbor goes to her, and he is a man in his 50's...if it is the same lady, I can say that he speaks highly of her.
Thanks!

Dr. Garner of East Valley Pediatrics is the best ever! He is located in Gilbert off of Val Vista and Baseline. He has helped me with all of my foster children.
