Hi again, Johnny--
Where did you hear that? I've sent you a link to the city's annual report on their drinking water and it says it has passed safe drinking water standards. It came out on June 30, 2006 so it's only a few weeks old. We get that type of report in Mesquite too. I'm assuming that most water districts will publish a similar report. Water in the southwest is hard so in most communities, to get good tasting water to drink, you'll have to use something like an R.O. system. I have one in my house and the treated water tastes to me like I bought bottled water at the store. They tell me that's all bottled water is: water that is sent through a reverse osmosis process. Oh, and remember, Lake Havasu is in Arizona and California, not Nevada. Lake Havasu City is in Arizona; Mohave County. --'rocco |

The water is hard, but drinkable with r.o.. If you moved or try the water out here in Bullhead city you would be crazy. We have very bad water, it's full of Alkaline. Yes Alkaline like you could run a remote control car Alkaline. The outside water faucets is full of the battery acid residue, like a car battery has.
