Would any of you want to have an aquarium in Arizona and where?
Why don't we have one now.. every other major city has one - I love SAn Diego, Boston, Monterey Bay
What about that unique one in Newport Kentucky - up by Cincinnati?
I say yes - we need one

Cool Arizona Aquarium

Yes, there is an aquarium coming to Arizona.
It is the "Arizona Aquatic, Aviary & Wildlife Research Facility".
It is actually going to be the largest in the world!
It will have a campus of 6 sq miles.
Can't wait!

The page is www.arizonaaquarium.org
The email is info@aaawrf.com

Yes Arizona is going to have some cool stuff.
It will have the best aquarium.
The best Zoo.
The best water park.
The best weather.
The best canyon.
The best Game & Fish Dept.
The best politicians.
The best educational and research campus.

Yep. A good old fashion huge aquarium, in the desert!

Ron

What, the link by the OP (www.arizonaaquarium.org) didn't give you all the facts you need?

The only aquarium news that I've seen is related to Wildlife World Zoo, which was discussed in another thread, I believe.

Wildlife World Aquarium

Cool Arizona Aquarium

2.5 year building project
$5 Billion USD
7.8 million square feet
Salt Water
Fresh Water
Polar, Amazon, Desert, Oceans, Marshes, Mountain, etc.
Research of water, air and soils...all the pertaing species from fungus, bacteria, worms, ants to jellies, sharks, bobcat, snakes, scorpions, etc.
Hotels, Campus, Apartments, Labs, Public Auditoriums, Restaurants, Stores, Golf Courses, etc.

The largest aquariums in the world.

I enjoy seeing comments from individuals that are not in the "know" and try to diminish what is of value and what will change the economical staus of Arizona.

If you read the full one page site www.arizonaaquarium.org you would have seen and info link at the bottom.

HHmmm...got to wonder, don't chya.

If you have any further ideas about it or questions, which I am sure you do...I bet they will answer anything you might need.

Ron

Default Arizona Aquarium

Hey I am just trying to be informative to anyone that wants to know.
It is pretty cool.
It will employ about 20,000 full time.
The tank is very, very deep.
The scuba clubs are all very interested in this also.
Total gallons...1.8 billion.
