Sensimilla is on a distinguished road
Smaller towns in AZ seem to different types of crimes than in larger cities like Phoenix. Phoenix gets mostly auto theft, while cities like Black Canyon City are known for drug issues.

Excellent suggestion...right in the path of where a large proportion of "illegals" travel through. Duh!

I live in Casa Grande. It is an awesome little town of about 35,000 people. I live about 10 minutes from town. I live on the outskirts. I have been here since February 2007. I have 1.25 acres of land and I fenced it all the way around with 4' chain link fencing. I have my garden area, my chickens, and my dogs and cat. If you have to work (most do) you are only and hour to tucson or phoenix. The crime rate is low. I have never had the first problem out here. I am a transplanted texan and would much prefer to be back home. Circumstances beyond my control is what landed me here now. In 2007 1.25 acres of land was selling for $45,000.00. You have to put in septic and water and electric. I put a small mobile home home the lot but I do not have water well put in. I haul water from Stanfield which is 16 miles from here. A water well costs $30,000.00 due to the depth that has to be drilled to (750 ft). As much as I love it here, I would sell it all for $50,000 cash just to be able to move back home to Texas. Arizona is a great place to live, but there just is no place like home.
