Default Kingman, AZ

I am almost afraid to ask this, cuz of what I know already....but are there any nice family suburbs within a decent driving distance to Kingman? Esp an area with great schools.

Hubby has possible interview there soon and we are in CA.
Thanks

You might want to repost this in the Northern AZ forum. Prescott is nowhere near Kingman.

There are some neighborhoods in Kingman that are very nice. YOu need to spend a few days with a realtor. I know two couples that live in Kingman and they like it very much. One couple moved there from CA and another couple moved there from Lake Havasu.

You can always live in Bull Head City or Laughlin and he can commute to Kingman, I think it is only 20 to 30 min. drive. There are people who live in Lake Havasu that commute to Kingman.

George from Kingman Az is on a distinguished road
Kingman has some great housing areas. I live in east Kingman better known as Hualapai area - within the Hualapai Elementary School area. This area is the closest in-city with 1 acre+ lots at least those homes east of Eastern Street. Another area I considered was the Canyon Shadows area - west of Stockton Hill around Gordon Ave. The country club area also has some very nice homes. Then there is the foothills of the Hualapai Mountains. If you want to go outside the city, you might consider far north Stockton Hill. There are some very promising areas there. Even the downtown area has it's attraction. Hope this helps and best of luck in our town.

I agree with George. Kingman has some great family friendly neighborhoods, as he indicated.
