I didn't know she lives up in north Glendale, but she does. I thought it was cool and thought I'd share.

That is cool! We've been pulling for her since the get-go. I think she's beautiful and I am blown over by how versatile she is.

If she wins she'll be in the Kelly-Carrie camp, not the Fantasia-Ruben-Taylor camp.
She has an amazing career ahead of her.

I caught just a little snippet on the news today. I read somewhere that she was home schooled, but I think they mentioned something about a stop at Sandra Day HS. Maybe she just started the home schooling because of AI?

Anyway, you (and Jordin) must be just over the hill from us then.
Hi nieghbor

Hi nieghbor
I heard that too, but they said that she spent a couple (I am assuming 2) years in Sandra Day HS and then the other being home schooled, so my impression was that it happened before AI.

I thought it should have been the 3 women in the top 3, with Lakeshia losing next week, and Melinda losing to Jordan. IMO Blake can't hold a candle to any of these women LOL

Did you get to see her when she came?

I didn't get to see her because I had no idea she lives up here. When I saw it on the news that she was at her old HS Sandra Day O'Conner (which is down the street from me) I realized she lives here. Then I did a little search to see where she lives and sure enough they are about a mile from me or less. For some reason I thought she lived closer to downtown Glendale.

I'm not clear on when she started homeschooling, but you do a search on more info on her it lists a ton of things she has done so far. I didn't know she already recorded a 5 track cd, was a winner on Most Talented Kids, did something on Star Search, a winner for Torrid as a model, and the list goes on. They have been working on her career for a long time.

Hey, I like Blake. I think he's the only true original artist on that show. I dont think his voice is completely awesome, but hes cool.

I remember hearing that Jordan Sparks lives in AZ, I didnt know it was Glendale though.

I lived in the same town as Gina Glocksen, does that count for anything? LOL
