I paid mine when they nailed me aat Picacho Peak, that doesn't mean I think they are honest. Twenty eight years in Police Work I know better.
I know if I have been speeding. I know if I pushed it and ran a red light.

No warning signs down Lincoln or Tatum.

Shea is still Phoenix for the most part, it would depend where on shea, you sure it's Scottsdale PD vans?

Sorry Josh - I travel Shea from the Beeline Highway to Scottsdale Road - all Scottsdale - and I see the Scottsdale PD vans - with signs - every day.

That's odd since I have never once seen a warning sign.

Does PV have their own laws? The area I travel through is considered PV, but they use Scottsdale vans, they hide them along the side of the road where you can't see them until you pass it.

I drive by them everyday down tatum from shea, and east on lincoln from tatum.

The Town of Paradise valley has their own vans.

Go to the Town of PV Police station - There you will (probably) see the Town of PV vans.

So why do they use the Scottsdale vans if they have their own vans?

Regardless, there is no warning signs in PV.

First of all - I'm not so sure they do. Scottsdales city boundaries cuts in and out all up Tatum - and what you may be seeing is Scottsdales Vans actually in the City of Scottsdale - not the Town of PV.

But, no matter. The Scottsdale PD vans I see daily (usually one east bound and one west bound on Shea) have the yellow signs - Thats the best I can do

Litigation will be the deciding factor to all of this. There is no doubt in my mind that there is some legal questions about photo radars compliance to A.R.S. I for one will not take a side as this issue strikes mixed feeling in me so I can't choose.

On one hand photo radar has slowed drivers down and I see this. As for generated revenue for the state I doubt much has come from it as our budget has reflected. I see the braking at the yellow signs by the majority of drivers followed up with the acceleration after the camera. So really speeders are still speeders. I know that we do not have enopugh law enforcement officers to properly secure the hundreds of miles of highway in Arizona so any deterant to make roads safer is probably for the better good. Yet on this thought I have been near a camera flash at night and it blinded me as I was holding the wheel traveling the posted 65 (it was catching the driver passing me on the right) I have to say, I did not feel safe when I was driving half blinded by the flash.

I hope the courts at least give this case due process and not just toss it from the courts without a complete review of the gentleman's argument. I also hope the petition to bring photo radar to vote makes it to ballot so the voters can decide how to secure our roadways. I also pray that redflex considers doing something to minimize flash blindness in drivers before someone gets injured or killed (this may have already happened) One more thing instead of just selecting the lowest bidder we should say the lowest American based bidder to help protect jobs and not send money to Australia.
