Just where is this Shamrock Estates? You have to remember that there are literally thousands of subdivisions in the phx metro area, we can't possibly know where they are all by name. Plus so many are so close in name that it gets confusing. The name makes me think of where the Smurf's would live.

Taylor Woodrow sends me e-flyers all the time and they sure have some "affordable" housing developments. I got one from Shamrock and thought it was in Queen Creek. Is that right? It is an odd name for a desert community. I have not heard anything negative about them. Most of the builders work from a pool of imported craftsmen so you will have many of the same construction defects in almost all of them. Where their greatness is defined is in the customer service team and how they deal with the defects.

Nice Nice Baby! is on a distinguished road
Great purchase! You'll only be 5 minutes from the new 202 and about 10 minutes from the new mall. They wouldn't be in business if they did a poor job building. Best wishes to your new life in this home!

Default Shamrock Estates

I am looking forward to moving to Gilbert. This forum is excellent. Lots of great info exchanged. The home I purchased at Shamrock Estates was a Spec Home and I feel I got a great deal on it. However, was very surprised that the same home in Queen Creek or Avondale was anywhere from $50K to $80K cheaper. I guess that is the price you must pay if you want to live in Gilbert.
