I was wearing the most gas-permeable contacts they made 5 or so years ago when I had my second eye done. I didn't wear them at night and I still had capillaries growing into my cornea (not good). I don't think the synthetic fabrics I was wearing were doing anything that bad to me.

Lol, I was just being a smart-alek about synthetic fabrics. But it wouldnt surprise me that some people be so paranoid about that, too, though, because its not 'natural'.
