td,
I may beat you there! Am going to be in Laughlin for a scouting trip about September 11th for a possible move late October or November, so will be checking out rentals soon. Not sure I'll go with Crown Point - though it's been said here that it's good; but will definitely plan on living in Laughlin. If I go by Crown Point, I'll let you know my impressions of it. I hope we both find a happier life in Laughlin! ![]() |

The Villas are REALLY nice! Just up the hill from Crown Pointe. They are tri-level townhouses with double car garages. The grounds are beautiful, and theres a great view of the river and the lights of BHC LOL!
My son lived there about a year ago, and they were renting for around $900 a month. They had either a 6 month or 1 year lease. |

Thanks Rat!
I will check them out when I'm there. Actually, they're a little more than I was hoping to pay (I pay that much here in Colorado Springs,) but will definitely check them out as an option. Thanks so much for the tip. ![]() |

No matter where you live you are going to find something you don't like!!!! If you are looking for what you have now then don't come to Laughlin or the Bullhead area!!!
![]() I came from the San Fernando Valley in CA, so this is much better in comparison. I don't feel like I live in a foreign country anymore and everyone speaks English. Yes, I miss things, but it's not that far to drive to get what I want. Laughlin compared to Vegas......NO COMPARISON. If you like crowds, high prices, and rude people, then Vegas is for you! Maybe the pay is higher, but so is everything else. The town is getting to be so compact that it feels like being in CA, which most of the people living there are CA transplants! We love the fact that we can drive across the river and enjoy Laughlin. The casinos, most of them, try to give the locals a little more because they have to rely on us when the vacationers and snowbirds go home. The expression "It's a dry heat" is a TRUE statement and if you have never lived in humidity you have NO idea of what you are talking about. Born in the East coast I do know the difference! I would rather have a day with temps in the "one teens" then to have a day with high humidity!! ![]() |

Humm you would think the area with casinos and a state line would be a great place to live.

I was up in the area for a couple days looking around. I can tell you Bullhead City was nice. I didn't see all the druggies that people in here talk about. It seems like a nice place.
Now Laughlin to me seemed dirty and I did see a few drunks/druggies there. Bullhead seems like it is moving in the right direction. A lot of builing going on. |
