Just a McCainectomy, but I'm not willing to go through it. Hope AZ does though.

All I can say is that McCain made a poor decision picking Palin for VP, and now using Palin as a crutch to get re-elected. Does he think we are fools.
Also I agree with the others on immigration issues. Why did he wait all these years to call on help like the NG to protect our borders. He is so wishy washy, one of the most hypocritical politicians around.
Too bad we don't have a 3rd choice. Hayworth is not much better.

Don't really care for either one, since I'm not a registered Republican, I won't get to make the choice between them, anyway.

McCain is the perfect example of why we need term limits !

I'll be voting J.D.

For the most part, I have always respected McCain ... however, I agree that it's about time for him to step aside and let somebody else take his place. His association with pathetic Palin, waffling on the immigration issue, and opposition to drilling in the ANWR are three examples of why I believe he has become nothing more than a Washington, DC insider.

I'm unsure about Hayworth. To me, he seems a little on the looney side. On the other hand, I'm not crazy about the idea of a Democrat winning this Senate seat if Hayworth should happen to win the GOP nomination. The way I see it, we have enough big government intrusion happening with BOTH Dems and Republicans ... so it's likely that I'll be voting for the Libertarian or third party candidate in the general election (depending on who it is of course).

I am a life-long IND and not fond of either of these two. JD is more politically honest, but his views are far too right for me. I liked McCain at one time but his pandering is disgusting. You need to stand for something even if it costs you, I think. If the Dems can come up with a moderate that is not pro-illegal immigration, etc, then this is one where I would likely go Dem in the general, especially if JD gets the nod. If the Dems nominate some Leftie, then I don't know. AZ primaries are controlled by the extremists of both parties and it is distressing for a middle of the road pragmatist like me to find anyone I like come November.
