I disagree with most of these posts. I have lived on the North side for 40 years. I live on a very quiet street and have enjoyed my years here. My daughter was born here and went to the schools on this side of Fort Smith. We are a very mixed race side of town and I enjoy that. Who just wants to look at white people all the time. I have never had anything rough happen to me or to my neighbors. You might check it out before you start running my neighborhood down. Thank you.

How is the ft chaffee area, is that a good area? I don't know if there is anything to rent there but I may be able to buy.

"middle class" and "my husband makes pretty good money" are meaningless.

What is your price range for buying a house? Also what are other requirements ... such as commute to work (you'll need to provide a company name or area/location) ?

Number of bathrooms and bedrooms? Any other special features (3 car garage, minimum lot size, closeness of neighbors, 1 story, work shop, etc.)?

You can tell if it's a good neighborhood or bad good neighborhood by what you see walking on the streets.
