Default Park Hill neighborhood

I am considering relocating to North Little Rock. The Park Hill neighborhood has many houses for sale and are in my price range and taste.

How well does real estate do in this area, many people are selling and I am not sure how to interpret that?

Also, I am a single educated white male in mid 20's. Would I fit in there, or is it all old people or ghetto?

I am relocating from Conway. Conway might be a better investment property wise, but I don't like Conway.

Thanks

Park Hill is probably an area that will make a big comeback as people start renovating the older homes. Right this minute, I'd say it's probably an older crowd but that will probably shift. It's just a mixed bag there - the closer you get to the high school and police department, the more it changes.

I don't know what price range you are looking in, but there are a couple of little pocket neighborhoods in Little Rock that might be of interest to you. I'm no Realtor, but I'd be glad to help you. PM me if you'd like.

I, like yourself, am considering a move to Park Hill. I have friends that live in NLR, and also that are familiar with the area. I have been told that there are an increasing number of young professionals buying houses in the Park Hill area. I am guessing it is because of the great prices and the houses with character. I'm not sure about real estate trends in the neighborhood, but would love to hear about any information you receive concerning the area! I am also originally from the Conway area, but do not want to go back.

Park Hill is nice.

If you're in your 20s and single, you might give Argenta or downtown LR a try. Those are happenin' places.
