If you or your spouse work for Wal-Mart, the Walton Life Fitness Center is great and a good deal at only $15/month. There are plenty of other gyms though. World's Gym and lots of those little women's fitness things in the strip malls...

My husband is serious about fitness and really likes the World Gym in Bentonville. If you work for Wal-Mart OR for a vendor, World Gym will only charge you month-to-month and will give you a serious discount on their rate.

Try the Jones Center for Families in Springdale. It's a great place, located on Emma on the east side of town, with recreational facilities and a lot more, including skating rinks, pools, gyms, computer labs, libraries, etc. etc. It's a public center and a lot of it's free.
