Question Software jobs in the Fayetteville area??

Hello... My husband is a software engineer/programmer and we're thinking about moving to the Fayetteville area to start a new life. Are there many jobs like this in the area? We've looked on monster.com and have seen a few jobs (mainly Robert Half) but are a little worried about security. He works in Kansas City now, and if he were to be laid off, it probably wouldn't be hard for him to find another job quickly. So we like the job security of KC but REALLY need a change. Does anyone know what this industry is like in Fayetteville? Is it very promising, or are there only a few of these jobs to go around? Thanks!!

Smile also interested..

I would also be interested in the software job opportunities in the Fayetteville area as my wife and I are thinking of moving to the area to 'start a new life' as well. We haven't found much so far.

I don't know about the programming job market in Fayetteville, but I have heard a lot of bad things about RHT. I guess he had a good experience with them previously, or knows someone who did? They're fairly infamous in the developer world from what I can tell.

I am working in software field. Hard to find permanent job. but try contractor (Datamatics, Aerotek) for engineering (software, and electrical) are a good one. Hard to find job comparing to where I used to live (Colorado).

Wal-Mart is getting ready to hire 600 new IT people if that is the kind of thing you are looking for.
