I remember the golf course ordeal. Several churches in the area were having a fit about that and tried to organize a public protest. They got several hundred letters signed by church members and sent them to Alcoholic Beverage Control to try to block it. I didn't realize it actually got approved. Thats good news for progressives in one of the most conservative counties in the state.

matto you sure are correct, still I cant wait to go to a Crawford county liquor store instead of going to fort smith or ozark for a 6 pack of Bush NA or odules!

Mattois Sure Correct. But I Still Wish I Could Go To A Store In Crawford County And Get My Non Alcoholic Beer.

If you're surrounded, crank up your car, press the accelerator, and go get you some alcohol. Not that hard. A lot easier than trying to start a political movement.

It's ridiculous ridiculous ridiculous that crawford county is dry. It makes no sense whatsoever that crawford county is dry when you can drive 1 mile over the bridge and purchase alcohol. I don't know if the church goers are so dillusional or what. Either way people are going to purchase alcohol, or go to bars and come back home in crawford county, so why not sell it and get the benefits of more business?
