Default Arkansas getting a lot of earthquakes!

I don't live in Arkansas, but I notice on Intellicast.com (overlay 'earthquakes') that Arkansas has been getting many, many smaller earthquakes in the same general area, and a 4.2 earthquake today!

Have you felt them? Did you feel the one today? What are your thoughts on why you are getting so many?

If it's Eastern Arkansas toward the Mississippi River area, that area has same fault line (New Madrid Fault) that caused the massives earthquakes in the early 1800's that hit the area where Ky., Tenn., Missouri, and Arkansas come together or close to each other, which of course caused the Miss. River to flow backwards and formed Reelfoot Lake in Tenn.

Been lots of shakin going on I understand you have to be in the affected area to feel them, and maybe not then. Some people are blaming the gas drilling and some says it has nothing to do with it. A couple years ago they had a cluster of them in the Magnet Cove area, southwest of Little Rock, and there is no drilling there. They never decided what was causing them. About 50 years ago when I was living near M.C. I felt two, but that was not part of the above cluster.

I read an article by a scientist who said the fault is dead or is going inactive. I can't find it though.

A sonic boom and quick jolt is what an earthquake around Bentonville was like earlier in the year. No damage was done.

There were several in the northwest part of the state last spring which I felt a few of them. I have felt three or four earthquakes now since moving here and they sound like dynamite or a bomb going off except it lasts for several seconds.
