Default Looking to buy land in NW AR:

Need to buy anywhere from 2 - 5 acres of land(will pay up to $8,000). Land must have access to both water and electricity, and must have little to no restrictions. Would like for the location to be somewhere around Berryville, Eureka Springs, Grandview, Green Forest, etc. If there is anyone out there who knows of anything, just let me know. Thanks!

Exactly.

With Wal-Mart's growth from bentonville, and the baby boomers moving here to retire in big lots...Good luck dude!

You might want to try southern missouri around Rogersville, Ozark, Nixa, south of Springfield and Joplin.

Not true. Actually, there was an add in the paper last week that advertised 5 acres(fully wooded and flat, and with access to electricity and water) out in Grandview, but when I called the man said he had already sold it-- no suprise there.

By the way, thanks for the Ebay link, it's appreciated.

Let me tell you about the ads we see all the time here plus advertised on the radio, x number of acres, water and electricity, wild life, woods, etc for only a few thousand per acre: then call and hear the whole story or go see the property.

Again, I wish you luck, but I think you are living is a dream world. AS for EBay, I am a firm beleiver of researching ebay for almost everything, just make sure what you are doing.

Cabs - I think you can find what you are looking for .... most see the term "Northwest Arkansas" or "NWA" or as in your case or as in your topic "NW AR" and they assume $15,000 to $100,000 per acre for pasture land. While this is true in the majority of Washington and Benton Counties, you specifically stated you are looking at areas around Eureka Springs, Berryvillle, and Green Forest, which is an area for the most part not affected by the aggressive growth experienced in extreme NWA. You can still find acreage around Berryville within your budgeted range so I am sure you can find that 2-5 acre plot you are seeking.
