If you are considering Heber Springs, think twice. Unless you are wealthy and can afford a house by the lake you will be treated as second class citizens. And you better hope that your child is particulary well behaved, because the juvenile justice system is like flypaper. If they ever get their hooks into you forget it. Make sure you save receipts from any fines, (they only accept cash) or you will pay them twice. Quite a little scam they have going here. If I had it to do over, I would never have brought my kids here. NW Arkansas (or some other state) would be a better choice.

Dear potential mover, I have moved to Arkansas from Delaware six years ago and I love it here. There are so many diff. tractor trailor company's hireing here. Also, rent here is cheap you can rent a 3br with attached garage fenced yard and allows animals inside and out for $525. a month. Where I live which is VanBuren there are lots of factory's that hire. So, I would think that you and your family would love it here. Also, the school systems are great here we have one of the highest test scores in the U.S. So, if there is anything else you would like to know just email me back. I hope you find this helpful.
