Spudnuts was on the travel channel not too long ago.

In Pekin they are probably existing off a previous Caterpillar contract that guarantees them Spudnuts on arrival of dayshift every morning.

That would only be relevent to people that know Cat employees.

It's 30 miles for a Spudnut from my house. I'll just stick to Market Street Bakery.

I was back in Eldo a couple of weeks ago and gave them another try. They were as good as ever. I guess I got a bad batch last time.

Class of '72 here, did the shop used to be close to Barton Jr High? Have to travel many a mile to have those spuds-and its worth it!

Yes, it was originally next door to the old Rumph Mortuary on Oak St just off NW Ave, that was one street south of Barton.
