I like Siloam but don't know much about it.....why don't you re-post with that title and maybe some of our friends that way can give you more info?

I am from Fort Smith. It's a pit. I wouldnt live there unless I had a really good job waiting for me. Meodocre places to eat, no night life, and really no good museums or anything of intrest.
It is not considered NW Arkansas. Fayettville, Springdale, Rogers, Bella Vista, Bentonville, and Lowell areas are considered NW AR.
On the flip side, really cheap property taxes, but pretty high sales taxes on everyday items, food, etc...

I don't consider Ft. Smith/Van Buren NWA. It's the River Valley. NWA is pretty much anything north of the tunnel on I-540.

Siloam is a nice place. It has the basics, but you're not far from Bentonville/Rogers/Springdale/Fayetteville. That, and you're only about 70 Miles from a larger town in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

AMEN!

Ft. Smith is a drag for a city its size. I live in a small town about 45 miles from Ft. Smith and I commute daily to work and attend UAFS. I am dying to get out of here. The age 60+ crowd really like it though.
