Exclamation I love my town

I believe that you will love this city I grew up here and so have my children. Pine Bluff has many ups and downs just like any other. Yes it has had a white flight. But some of the good areas are in the watson chapel area down past the high school, and around the hospital. The crime rate in pine bluff may be bad but is only in a certain area like any other city. Some posts are tryin to make White Hall appear to be a good school and area. Only if you like drugs like meth, and teens that like crack, and overdose on prescription pills. These are just a few things people don't want to talk about but White Hall is like Pine Bluff just with out the crime. So yes move to Pine Bluff with an open mind. It is a very good city with flaws.P.S. It has some great schools and colleges.

Don't even consider living in Pine Bluff...Watson Chapel and White Hall are just extensions of Pine Bluff. The more apartment complexes (govt. sponsered housing) are built in these 2 communities, the more of Pine Bluff crime is and will be moving in. Live in Sheridan, Rison, Woodlawn, or just go on and make the move to Little Rock and drive I-530 to work every day. This town is a cess-pool.

I love Pine Bluff! There are way more things to do than White Hall and surrounding cities, places to shop and very cheap nice places to live. You just have to be wise when it comes to chosing to where you live in Pine Bluff. The city is mostly black but they treat other racis as if they were to.

I am planning to move to Pine Bluff @ the end of June 2009. The stories I've been reading about that city are Horrifying! Although they were dated in 2006-2008, I would like to know how the area/crime is today. It seems as though the only people that have anything positive to say about Pine Bluff are "Junior Members", which is NOT the kind of Feedback I am looking for, no offense.

I know someone that recently took a job there and they report it's still very dodgy on crime, get out before nightfall etc.

They chose to live about 20 miles away in Warren, which they report is much nicer.

You might want to read up on Pine Bluff Arsenal if you have any phobias about chemical weapons being stored, disposed of, and incinerated there.

The Dollarway area of Pine Bluff(Nothern PB) is not a bad area to live. Also the Watson Chapel area of Pine Bluff(Southwestern PB)is not a bad area to live in.Then again you might would prefer the White hall area Moderator cut: removed sentence
