As I pointed out in the duplicate thread in the Elections forum last week,

The Arkansas Democrat Party has publicly stated that all delegates will be Obama delegates.

Obama won anyway. I don't think there was ever a doubt about his winning the primary. The other guy did make an impression but certainly nothing like some had predicted..

Just wanted to add: I am so happy about the sheriff election in Benton County. The winner, Cradduck is a real gem, people in our county should be thrilled with his victory. I have every reason to think he will do a great job.

We were very lucky with our choice for Sheriff. Both Cradduck and Jones were very good choices. I think the fact that Cradduck has run three times for this position weighed heavily in his favor, because it showed how much he wanted the position, and how dedicated to doing a good job he will be. Jones was Cradduck's boss for several years, and was also an excellent officer. Both men were well qualified, and know Benton County well.

I totally agree with you. I wrote a couple letters to the paper about the two. I am a huge Cradduck supporter for many reasons, but I agree, Jone's would have been very acceptable. We were lucky, infact I think we are lucky to live in NWA....
