Default relocating to hot springs area

I'm retiring in a few years. Heard alot about this area.
Is Hot Springs a place to retire at. Or a close city
maybe Mountain Pine? I'm from Illinois ,so I'm use to the weather.
Any information or helpful input will be appreciated.

many people chose to retire in Hot springs. In fact the community of Hot Springs Village ( a gaited community in hot springs) is predominatly a retirement community. As soon as you leave Hot Springs, you will be in the country. So if thats what you are looking for, then any small town nearby would be ok for you.

Mountain Pine is nice, but alittle run down.

There are lots of lakes in the area for outdoor recreation, and the mountains are beautiful. Ideal place for retirement.

You might also look at areas in Northern Arkansas around Mountain Home. many people retire there also.

Lots and lots of midwesterners retire in both HSV and HS. You'll be right at home.
