moving to magnolia & looking for a job (Texarkana, El Dorado: travel, jobs)

Hello to all,
My wife has family in Magnolia and we are going to move there to be closer to them. Can anyone give me any info on what types of jobs are available in the area?

I live in Camden and you may find jobs in Magnolia, Camden or El Dorado area. There is about 30 miles difference between these 3 towns each way. There is also East Camden Industrial Park close to Camden that has major employers. Just let us know what type of work you do or what you want to do and some here will keep a watch for you. Thank you anjoe....I have 2 jobs in Michigan right now. I am an auto worker in a production plant and I am a dispatcher for AAA.....I will do pretty much anything that has a decent rate of pay....My wife just finished her B.A. so she is also pretty open. We will be down there in January. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated

I live in Magnolia, and I can tell you... there is NO jobs here, lol.... My husb. got a job at a country club which is the reason we moved. That was in Jan 2007..I have yet to find a job. Although, there has been some fast food places hiring. anyway goooood luck..but I think your best bet would be looking outside of Magnolia. GL with the move!

I don't mean to rain on your parade, but there are no jobs in that part of the state other than very low paying blue collared jobs. You may need to check on Central Arkansas or Northwest Arkansas and you'll still be a days drive from your wife's family in Magnolia. Good luck.....

Well she just graduated with a degree in business and languages. She is pretty open though about what industry to go into. We both are willing to travel 50 miles or so outside of Magnolia for work....

Theres jobs in Magnolia for banking, Industrial, Chemical, and educational either public schools private school or the University. Texarkana is booming with jobs also. and is only about 45 minates away.

Was just wondering about the status of your move to Magnolia, AR. Have U made the move? Need help with job search?
