Bentonville or Rogers? Sports leagues (relocate, subdivision, move)

Hi there. We are realocating to NWA from Naperville, IL. Trying to decide between Bentonville and Rogers....looking at Shadow Valley subdivision because of the pool/tennis/golf etc. Not sure what to think about the traditional vs. non-traditional schools. Also, we are a very sports-oriented family and am looking for youth leagues for tackle football, soccer, basketball for kids K-4....competitive leagues. Can anyone help?

Both cities have active sports programs for children. Soccer is big here, football in the junior highs and high schools is very big, for younger children there is peewee football. Baseball is very big, I think Bentonville hosts regional championships. One thing you might want to consider is that there are plans for a YMCA in Bentonville, and that's supposed to be a very nice facility.

First off shadow Valley is great, I have lived there since February and love it. Everyone is great and its very family friendly. It is the best decision we made as far as a neighborhood. Sports leagues are abundant in both Rogers and Bentonville. Rogers probably a little more. Rogers is getting a 2nd high school starting next year, that rivalry is gonna possibly rival the Rogers/Bentonville Rivalry (where Rogers has been at the head end of now for a few years)

Moved here from Mount Carroll IL in 2004 at age 16. Graduated in Rogers High School in 2006 at 18.
