my family camps at degray and the park isnt too far of a drive. This last summer we decided to go one day and had a blast! we didnt find anything but had fun. Like they said earlier, bring extra clothes and take advantage of the water park! we had more fun trying to dig up an old digging tool or something when we lost interest in searching for a diamond haha. We happened to go on a cloudy day and if they hear thunder they shut down the pool for 30 mins so that kinda stunk. THere was no rain or lightening but we had to get out. All in all it was a great trip. I only wish i had found my birthstone in all the dirt!
it brought back childhood memories of playing in the dirt
