Default Visiting Augusta area in Spring anyone know about hotels in the area?

We will be visiting family in this area in the spring and would like to know if anyone knows of any hotels or motels in the area. Family is spread out between Augusta and McCrory.

Bald Knob, Newport, Brinkley, or Searcy will be your best and closest choices.

I've stayed in Newport a few times, I wouldn't reccomend it. The town is fine, but the hotel is pretty rough. If you're looking for a nice hotel, like a holiday inn, or ramada, or some other chain, go to Brinkley or Searcy. (Searcy being my first choice). The other towns in the area will only have "mom and pop" motels.
