Why is everyone in California moving to Bella Vista?
I've talked to several people in California whom are immigrating to Northwest Arkansas. I here nothing but good things, especially in Bella Vista area. What's the deal out there?

An advertising campaign selling homesites have been playing on TV. Erik Estrada is in the commerical doing the pitch.

why in the world would anyone listen to Eric Estrada? Let alone buy anything hes pitching! Move from California to Arkansas because Eric Estrada says you should? I DONT THINK SO!

I have a friend who is building a home on a lot he purchased in Bella Vista (while now renting in Bentonville). I guess they are now close pals with Erik Estrada. They are dragging another couple out to Bella Vista from LA to live. They love it.

All the California people in the universe can go to Northwest Arkansas for all I care. Just stay away from the River Valley. The whole area up there has gotten to the point where a Southern accent is an alien thing, and it makes me ill.

Maybe because of the lower taxes and lower cost of living and less traffic and no wind-driven wildfires and no earthquakes and no riots? Just a guess. |

Unless you're rich and retiring, I dont' see a reason to move to Bella Vista. But, if you're old and rich and nothing to do but play golf, then it's apparently the place to be. It's a very closed and snooty community.
