Rent, depending on how nice you want the place, can range from $375 and up. There are a few within walking distance . . .I'll try to get you links to those later.
What exactly are you wanting to know about the school? What about the atmosphere?
I was never into the party scene, but there are plenty of parties. It was voted one of the nicer dressed universities; but if you know the right people, you can get a hippie feel as well. VERY football oriented, though since Nutt recently left, who knows how the team is going to be.
Anything else you want to know?

Particularly good are the engineering (Computer Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering) and Architecture schools. There may be others, but those are the ones I know as being really competitive with some of the best in the nation. My wife has a physics degree, and there are some really dedicated physics instructors, too - but it's not as widely respected as UofA engineering.
Just out of curiosity, why are you only looking for an AA? From my experience, an AA is really regarded little different than a high school diploma... BA's make ALL the difference.
And for reference, I'm not saying a degree affects your job performance all that much (IMO) - but I was chosen for a my current job before I had my BS (BA,BS, same idea, just different subjects). The HR department wasn't going to approve my selection, though, because I didn't have a Bachelors. A Sr. VP had to step in to make it work.
there really are some positions where the lack of a bachelors degree really puts a cieling in place ....
(I've since gotten my B.S., if for no other reason than I don't want to go through that crap again :P )

I think the thread starter meant he already had his Associates degree and was looking to finish his Bachelor's at the University of Arkansas.

Graduated from there in the mid-90s. Good place to go to school---it's not huge compared to other states' flagship universities, but it's still big enough where you get all the benefits and activities of college. Much nicer now when I was going there as far as facilities, etc. Fayetteville is a great town, although it's a lot bigger now than it was when I was in school.
I don't know what your career goals are, but if you're interested in police work you might want to research some of the various police forums on the internet---just about all of them say that criminal justice isn't a good degree choice.

I am always amazed when these threads pop up. I am guessing the poster has graduated by now being this thread is 2 years old.
