I hope to begin law school at UA-Fayetteville in Aug. 2008. My husband hopes to continue his undergraduate there. Problem is...we can't find an apartment that will accept 2 large dogs (one is a med. sized huskey and the other is a large lab). We now live in Magnolia and rent a house that allows any dog except pits. We also want to keep cost to a minimum. We are open to renting apartment, house, trailer, anything, but must take our dogs with us. Does anyone have any suggestions? We're desperate!

I've had pretty good luck finding places that allow pets. Most of them haven't suited us for one reason or another. We've ruled out places without fenced yards, and that eliminates a lot. I'd send you a list of places, but I doubt it would be helpful since these places wouldn't likely be vacant by august 08.
One thing I've found about property owners in NW Arkansas.... just because they say "no pets" in the ad doesn't necessarily mean no pets! More than once I've asked if they could make an exception, and when they find out what breed of dog I have (lab) they ease up on the restrictions. Good luck! |
