Default hospitals to work in paragould or jonesboro

doing some research, any & all input is and will be appreciated. i am married with 2 children, a registered nurse currently working in a 400+ bed hospital in florida. my husband is looking to get back to the small town country living. what are the pay scales for registered nurses and the price of houses and taxes. we would like to look at 5 acres or more. i know this is a lot to ask, but we would like this to be our last move. the least amount of crime. my children would like to sleep with their windows open again. we were looking at the paragould, jonesboro area or any surrounding towns. i currently drive 45 minutes to work. to drive into tennessee wouldn't be out of the question but want no part of living in the city. any input please. sorry for any grammatical errors i work 12 hour nights with a lot of overtime

there are also several surgical centers and other doctors offices in and or around Jonesboro, Paragould. If I was gonna make a suggestion, Id suggest working in Jonesboro and living right outside of town, Brookland, Bay, Trumann, Harrisburg, Paragould-just a 20 minute drive.

I would closely look at schools before considering living in SOME of the above mentioned towns. Not meant to be a slam at any particular place but as the mother of 3 and a former long-time resident of Jonesboro, some are places I would not prefer to send my children to if given the choice. If you don't mind commuting into the city, some people live in Arkansas and commute into Memphis. I know of some RNs that do long weekend shifts in Memphis and can make more than they would working full-time elsewhere. That would be a big lifestyle choice though.

Both the hospitals in Jonesboro are stable and growing.
