We are considering a move to Fayetteville in order to be closer to my mother who is having some health issues. My wife is an LPN with about 8 years experience and I was wondering if anybody had a general idea about what the pay range is for the area. Lots of positions advertised but no pay rates that I can find.

Just trying to get some research done before making a decision. Thanks for any help!

I'm not sure what the pay is for nurses. If it's like every other job in this area, it's probably really low. Washington Regional is a nice hospital though. When I moved here in January from the midwest, my boss had told me that the cost of living here was very low, but I haven't found that to be true. Maybe you can find a nice house for a good value, but I haven't noticed any difference in price in renting an apartment or going to the grocery store or anything else. Plus, the sale's tax is ten percent here.

The area is okay, but if you have someone telling you how low the cost of living is, I would disagree with that.
