Default Russellville is a beautiful place.....

With living in South Arkansas and having relatives close to Tulsa we always drive the interstate to OK and always enjoying passing by Russellville. You guys are blessed with such beautiful nature/scenery to enjoy and it's a treat for us to pass your way twice a year!

I visited Russellville and several other parts of AR a few years ago. There are 3 beautiful state parks not far south from Russellville that are worth mentioning. The closest is Mount Nebo, about 10 miles from town that has a great view of the whole area in all directions. Another is Petit Jean, a nice state park with good hiking trails and a lake. The third is Mt Magazine, on top of one of the highest peaks in the state. They were building a new lodge at the top when I was there. Nice views from the top.
