Fixin' to run a rapid on the Mulberry River, between High Bank and Redding. This was in the middle of June this year! The water was higher than normal. (hope this works!)

A view from overlook at White Rock Mountain, near sunset. You can see almost 180 degrees from that overlook. It's gorgeous.

1. Sunset from White Rock Mountain overlook. 2. View from back of Cobb Cave on Lost Valley Trail, looking downstream. Can't really get the perspective of how big it is from this picture. This trail is one of the best in Arkansas! Will try to post more later, out of time.

Ok, the first picture is the entrance to Cave Mountain Cave. It's hard to tell without some kind of reference for scale, but this is actually looking down....you follow a little trail down to it. I would guess, relying on my fautly memory, the opening is probably 10 or 12 feet high....if anybody knows better, correct me.
The second one is the Glory Hole. I wanted to post another one that had people in it for perspective on the scale, but I really don't like putting pictures of my family on the internet for the whole world to see. I would say the hole is approximately 12-14 feet from the ground. I didn't get to go to this one, my brother took this picture. I want to go someday, though they said it was a pretty strenuous hike, so I'd better go soon before I get too old!
The third one I'm not positive about, but I'm pretty sure it's the Twin Falls area, which is right off the beautiful Cass-Oark road that I was telling about in another post. I have a picture of the Twin Falls, but it has people in it. They're easy to get to....you can find them in Tim Ernst's Arkansas Waterfalls book. This is a side-shoot of the main creek where the Twin Falls are.
Next is a view up the Mulberry River from the Cass-Oark Road, Hwy. 215. One of the prettiest drives in Arkansas, IMO.
Next is also on Hwy 215, right before the High Bank Canoe Access parking lot. It was spring and the water was running everywhere. This water runs into the Mulberry right across the road. If you look closely you can see a pretty large waterfall at the top, which brings us to the next picture, which is a close-up of that waterfall.
I'll post more later! Hope everybody enjoys these.

Great pictures! I had fun playing "guess where this is" while looking at the pictures.

Well, then, I'll do it the same way next time, so you can have more fun with the next ones! The only reason I posted them separately before was because I didn't have time to put the comments in by the time I got through uploading that last batch and had to come back later to do it.
I had 8, count 'em, 8 more pictures uploaded, inserted into the post, and was typing my comments on each one and accidentally hit backspace instead of enter and lost every one of them! I'm still trying to figure out if they're still around somewhere so I don't have to upload them all again.
