No, the big lakes are not hidden, for sure. War Eagle sounds like fun. Is is documented on line somewhere? Have you got a link?

Sounds like you explore a lot like I do; do your homework first, then venture out. When I was living in Crawford County, I kept a grid of multiple detailed USGS Topo maps of the area on the garage wall just for exploration purposes.

War Eagle Trail is out of Withrow Springs.

Day Hike Trail

You can google pictures of the trail as well. It's going to be a scorcher this weekend, though.

This is a bit of negativity. I found this through pure happenstance just a moment ago. Not knowing where else to put it is why it's here. It may be that homicides from the NW & other areas are not included.

Homicides of 2009 - Google Maps

Homicides of 2008 - Google Maps

An Arkansas map is an image of Arkansas, isn't it? Well, I'm going to share this one here. If there are any objections to including maps in this threads charter, fell free to PM me about it. However in the meantime, feel free to openly discuss this map if you have any comments.

I may be the only one, but to me a good map is a treasure to behold.

FYI: When posting links to custom Google Maps, the trick is to frame the map in the center of the visible window and click on the "Link" button in the bar at the map's top. Copy the first link in the pop-up, and paste it in your post.

So what your saying, Bull, is that Little Rock, Pine Bluff, and Jacksonville should not be at the top of the vacation list?
