I am from NY... A friend of mine recently moved to Little Rock... So I stumbled onto this board to see what the hell is going on in Arkansas... Fayetteville seems really nice... Are those pictures just of a certain area of the city or characteristic of the greater city... What business/sectors are big there? How close is it to Little Rock?

I assume you are talking about the pics of just Fayetteville. The pics are of downtown and Dickson Street which is just off the U of A campus. They are not neccessarily a representation of the entire city but overall Fayetteville is fantastic scenic town that is nothing like the rest of the state. Fayetteville is trying to bring in some sustainability firms but hasn't had much luck as of yet. There are a few Walmart vendors such as Poctor and Gamble. Tyson, JB Hunt, Walmart, and the U of A are the largest employers of the area. It's about 2.75 hours drive to Little Rock from Fayetteville.

@iain42 those are excellent pictures. I'm thinking about taking a class or two so I can take some decent pictures.
