Wonders of Spring and other Natural State coolness
We've got it all right here, and it's all good. The state motto used to be: "Land of Opportunity".

Lost Valley hiking trail this past spring...the water was running beautifully everywhere and the trail was almost magical in its beauty!
I'll have to wait to post more....can't figure out how to get more than one at a time on here, so I'll have to go back and read the instructions again!

Excellent photography. Also enjoyed the narratives associated with your wonderings.

Photographs from June 2008
We have plenty of bugs, wildflowers and creepy crawlies. The four most common venemous snakes in the U.S. can be encountered in Arkansas - Cottonmouth, Copperhead, Rattlesnake & Coral Snake. Just use common sense and be careful while you enjoy the prettier stuff.

Is that plant you've got labeled as Musk Thistle the same as the Rattlesnake Master you can sometimes (rarely) find in the Ozarks? Looks very similar but I can't tell from that picture.
