Lake Greeson/Daisy State Park
In May I will be taking my grandson camping and fishing at Daisy State Park on Lake Greeson. Has anyone fished or camped there? I am wondering if May is early enough that the skeeters wont carry us away and wondering if I should gear up mainly for bass. We will be fishing from the shore. Any advice from my fellow anglers and campers will be appreciated.  |

Theres some great trout fishing 'round those parts. Parker Creek was a real nice campground (we just passed through it) and it was right next to a great swimming hole. I dont think the skeeters will be too bad in May but I am usually only there during summer and fall so I dont know. Lake Greeson is such a nice place!Good choice!  |

My wife and I had one of our first dates there! I don't fish,but the park is very popular with fishermen and boaters alike. It's a pretty park too!

Thanks, we probably won't fish either. We just want some great scenery and may go ATV trail riding as well.

I have not been in many years but it was a beautiful park! We went swimming there all the time. We lived in Glenwood and just drove over. Oh man I miss it!
