Yes it was on a list like that. It is a great place to live with plenty of amenities for a city its size. There is history and culture, though some people can't see past their own street to find them. The only thing I hate about living in fort smith is the weather. If you want to see the seasons change, this is the place for you. Summers are the worst with the heat & humidity and the storms are also horrible at least for me who is a california/washington native. People are nice, though a bit slow moving.

I have to smile when you say slow moving. I too, am originally from Ca though it has been many years since we lived there, one of the first things we noticed when moving to NWA was how slow people talk, move and drive. Sometimes I want to put a firecracker under them. (Well not really)
