NOEM, have you checked with U of A? I'm thinking they MUST have a book club or something. The public library used to do a Crimes and Clues book club - and you might check wtih Dickson Street Books, I would think they would run something as well. Lots of rare books there. If you hate crowded spots, it's not the place for you. Absolutely books everywhere!

Did you know there is a book club on this forum?

City-Data "Book Forum" Book Club

Guess that defeats the purpose of getting out of the house, though, LOL!

I know the Young Democrats are very active there if you are politically inclined in the least...this being election year I would think they could use extra hands. I can get the name of the guy that runs it if you're interested at all.

I'm sure someone else will come up with a lot of things, but if you have any hobbies you might let us know what they are and maybe we can direct you a little better. Being a single parent sometime is a job and a hobby all rolled into one!

Thanks- I didn't know there was a book club on this forum. Although it doesn't get me out of the house, I'm still interested. My daughter told me today that she wants to take a martial arts class. I figure since I will have to take her anyway that I might try to find a multi age class so I can just join with her( I laugh just picturing this) Not exactly what I had in mind (more the yoga type) but hey it's a hobby.Still would love to find a local chapter of the national MOMS club.

Thanks
wow, I have seen the list of clubs and organizations in Bella Vista and surrounding areas; almost anything you could want is there.
