I just wanted to say my heart goes out to everyone in my home state of Arkansas who had to go through the recent severe weather.

Apparently it was very, very bad. We heard the sirens in Russellville but I think everything went east and south of us. Atkins took a HARD hit.

All the indicators were there - very warm, unseasonably so, massive cold front moving in. It got deathly still about 5:00 and we commented then that it was going to be a bad evening. I'll try to find all the updates and post some of them.

This is just a fact of life here. One of the few drawbacks I can see, but we certainly aren't the only place in the nation to experience the deadly twisters.

Hell was last week without power for us for four days, but nothing to compare to what some residents of several states are living through right now. 12 dead in Arkansas alone, a couple of folks missing in Clinton. I think they said 22 dead altogether in the states that were hit - Lt. Dan, I saw the TN reports. Prayers to evreyone as we try to recover from this one and brace for the next run.
