Hello, Mushroom season is just around the corner, & I was wondering if
those edible morel mushrooms grow in North Central AR? Thanks.

YES!! They grow quite well. However, the precise locations where I've found them are closely guarded secrets!

Hey Y'all, i moved to No Central Arkansas, a few years back would like some info on these Morels , would like to cook some with my Wife and Family. Thanks.

Moral mushrooms pop up in the early Spring. They only grow in certain areas. Half the fun is findng them. They are delicious to eat. We like them rolled in flour & fried.

Don`t forget to soak them for a day or two in salt water, to kill the little bugs!
I usually cut them in half, length wise. Roll in flour, and some use shortening to fry, but I use butter. Its alll good!

I found two mushrooms, but I think I was either too late, or the weather just got to hot, to quick!
