My wife and I are moving to Little Rock as I got relocated to the AF base there (Civilian not active duty) and we want to rent someplace for a month while we look for a house to buy. We have two dogs and so I was wondering if anyone had some advice or suggestions on where to look. Since we are looking for a single month, our price range is 2500 as we know the hassle of short term renters

I think there is a national company called vacation rentals. At least we have them here in NWA. They rent homes by the day,week, or whatever; usually the price is reasonable and many take pets. We used them when we moved here. Give it a try anyway; it is a start.

Yeah, try VRBO.com...someone may be willing to rent to you for a month just to get the ready cash.

With just a quick look, a lot of them will rent monthly...and these are rented directly by the owner, so you will get better attention if you have problems...usually the owner lives not far away, or responds quickly when you contact them.
