Hi! My husband and I are planning on visiting HSV to look at properties for our retirement home. One question we have is which gate or which areas are best choices? We are looking for home with 1500 to 1600 square feet. Also reading alot about POA fees increasing. Is that scenario happening?

In general the west side is older, smaller, less expensive homes. There is not a lot of shopping or retail around the village, but most of what there is is near the west gate. The POA fees recently increased dramatically, so I doubt we will see another increase anytime soon.
