My family and I are considering moving back to Arkansas. We lived in Beebe, Ark for a short time when my husband separated for the military. His family is from that area. We are considering moving back but would like something with more cultural benefits and better schools for our kids. Also more job opportunities for my husband. The jobs where few and far between when we were there. We moved away for work. He now has alot of Service Writer experience and can work with most automotive repair departments.
We have a 10 year old son with epilepsy, a 6 year old daughter with dyslexia and a 4 year old son. We would want to live somewhere that provides excellent schools for our kiddos . Also, medical facilities for my son. They like extra curriculars like soccer, baseball, dance etc...
We are a Christian family who likes very contemporary, high energy churches. I would like to live in a little bit of a remote area but very close to amenities and entertainment. We want a safe place to raise our kids and also have a good price of living so we can save and be able to take the occasional vacation.
My husband is a HUGE Hogs fan and loves the idea of living in Fayetteville. His family is in Searcy/Beebe areas so Conway sounds nice to me as well. close but not too close. Can you share with me pros and cons of the Fayetteville family living all the way down to COnway? Interested in all the towns in between. Thank you so much for your help! Hoping to make a decision soon!

The towns of Alma and Van Buren function as suburbs to Fort Smith. They're small towns centered around jobs and shopping located in Fort Smith.

Russellville is a mix of blue collar, and is also a big college town, with the main campus of Arkansas Tech located there.

That's about all I have.

simply based on your idea of what kind of church you would like, I would suggest you think seriously about NWA. I am sure what you are looking for exists a lot of places, but wanted to mention one church particularly cause my granddaugter, hubby and 3 kids are involved. It is in Bentonville, very large, very contempary and very friendly. They tried several others before deciding. Everything else you seem to want you will find in or around Bentonville area. BTW the Church is: Keypoint. It is non; dinominational OK, forget the spelling, I am in a hurry, heading for a church meeting at our church right now.

Either Fayetteville area or Little Rock / Conway area ... Nothing with the amenities in between.
LR has their children's hospital, which is actually pretty good.
