Well, I hope I didn't screw up, but I was running out of options. Even though I did not want to live in Little Rock, I had to settle on an apartment located at 500 Napa Valley Drive in west Little Rock (the Calais Forest Apartments). Did I make a bad decision? Is this area safe, and is there much to do that's close by? Also, if you have any personal experiences with these apartments that you would like to share, that would be great too. Thanks for any help you can give.

That is a very safe area of Little Rock. It is a very suburban and affluent population in that area. Most of your chain restaurants and big box stores are on that side of town. The commute to downtown isn't too bad. When its not rush hour you can do it in about 15 minutes. With these gas prices, you will be glad you live there instead of living in out in Conway or Benton and commuting.

Thanks, bchris! I will be commuting a bit (to Alexander) but I'm hoping it won't be too bad since I'll be driving away from the downtown area.
