Well another night of storms: It has been constant forever it seems like. Our annual fireworks on the lake did go off last night as the storm held off awhile. Looks like rain almost everyday for the next week or so. The good news, our water bill and temps are down, and everything is green. The bad news: the bugs are here to greet us daily.

I am wondering if God moved AR to Or and forgot to tell us?

Now that we are into July, the rain should start being less and less. I think we've all had our share of it.

I hate the rain. After growing up in a place that got severe storms all year long, tropical storms, hurricanes, flooding, I HATE the rain. I'd be ok living in a desert.

It just got dark and is starting to rain.

I welcome the rain because after 10.0 inches in April, 8.3 inches in May, we only got precipitation 4 days in June for a total of 1.85

(1.3 of nice slow rain yesterday morning )

You didn't get a drenching rain last night with a sky that looked like and sounded like the starting of the July 4th fireworks?

No, as the sun came up this morning, I was planning to give my lawn a quick mowing.
Then it clouded up and we got a light rain.

Most of the time heavy rains/storms miss us.

Friday we were forecasted to get 1-2 inches.

We got .45

We just had another huge down pour. I am hoping our stupid dish doesn't go off. I will have to do something meaningful if we can't watch TV this pm or evening. Damn

sounds like us earlier in the year and no snow all winter. Now, we are getting more rain than we can use; should I send it UPS or Fed X? We got some more this am and are due for another round later this evening.

July 5 and I got 2.95 so far in the first 5 days of July with more forecasted for later today and this week.

2.95 in the first 5 days and only 1.85 in the entire month of June.

Looking at the forecast for the next 10 days, it appears we will now be going into a drought. LOL
