I hope AR can get permit less carry. They didn't even have castle doctrine. AR is a moderate state for some reason compared to bordering MS and MO. Especially with guns.

If they asked for your FL permit you can tell them it doesn't matter if you're a FL resident or not. FL permits are all the same. They don't have separate permits for residents and non residents.

Simply write to FL and send a cashiers check for a replacement permit saying you "lost" it.

AR needs to get on the ball and pass permit less concealed carry OR be like Missouri was an accept any permit regardless of residency.

Arkansas just wants your money.
It's a very short period of time to be without it. You can still open carry during that time.

Actually Arkansas passed a constitutional carry law in 2015. The democrat governor at the time didn't agree with the law he signed and it's been a mess ever since. It's not likely that our current RINO governor will straighten it out.

It's not really permit less concealed carry though. You WILL be arrested in Arkansas caught carrying without a concealed carry permit.

This is why if I lived in far southern MO it would still be a good idea to keep at least one ccw permit just in case you accidently cross into Arkansas. Since it's not like eastern MO where the river separates you from IL.

Despite the plain language of both the Constitution and Arkansas statutory law, there have been several bureaucrats including the former(?) Attorney General, Dustin McDaniel, who have written opinions to the contrary.

One of the problems in this country is the plethora of elected officials and judges who, seemingly, cannot read English.

The Sheriff here in Polk County has said publically that he will honor open carry. I have seen many folks do so.

Here in Newton County, I was told by the local police, as long as I didn't setup a bazooka on the courthouse square, they didn't care what or how I carried.
