We just moved here and our fireplace is propane. Its got two tanks and both are empty. I would like to fill one and try it to see if we want to run it much before filling both. Thanks for any help.

We use Centergas. We do have 2 tanks and usually use them up by the spring, but if not, we only get one filled the following fall.

and they are extremely honest we think. When we went to get ours filled this year because the pilot did not work we assumed both tanks were empty. We are so not knowledgable about thing like this they could have easily sold us a second tank but they tried to light the pilot for us, when it wouldn't light they recommended a fireplace company. We did have one so we used our own but still I appreciated there not trying to sell us something we did not need.
